Assistant Building Manager | Residential | $85,000 + Super | Sydney
We are currently seeking an Assistant Building Manager to join a well-established building management team, supporting the day-to-day operations of a high-quality residential asset in Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into or grow within the building management space, working closely with an experienced Building Manager across a modern residential complex.
The Role Reporting to the Building Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard, safe, compliant, and running efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations of a residential building
- Supporting contractor management across cleaning, security, and maintenance services
- Coordinating preventative and reactive maintenance works
- Conducting routine inspections and reporting on building condition
- Assisting with compliance including fire safety, WHS, and statutory requirements
- Supporting resident and stakeholder enquiries in a professional manner
- Maintaining records, logs, and building management systems
About You
- Previous experience in building management, facilities, maintenance, or a similar role
- Exposure to residential or strata environments is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented
- Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, lifts, fire systems etc.)
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
