Boilermaker / Welder – TBM Decommissioning | Sydney Metro

Job Description

We’re seeking qualified Boilermaker Welders to join a large-scale infrastructure project in Sydney Metro, assisting with the decommissioning of a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM).

You’ll be working on-site in a heavy fabrication environment, carrying out flux core and MIG welding as part of a skilled team.

Key Details

• Pay: $52/hr + penalties + $5 site allowance
• Roster: 7 days on / 3 off / 7 nights on / 4 off
• Hours: 12-hour shifts
• Duration: October 2025 – January 2026
• Work type: Ongoing casual, with full-time hours

Requirements

• Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker/Welder)
• Strong flux core and MIG welding skills
• Experience with fabrication and structural welding
• Can work independently of instructions
• White Card and full PPE
• Ability to work safely in a busy construction environment
