Job Description
Buildability Group are representing a highly respected boutique project management consultancy in Sydney, known for delivering exceptional outcomes across aged care, residential, clubs, and broader sectors including commercial, health, retail, and industrial. Due to a growing project pipeline, they’re seeking a Senior Project Manager or Project Director to join their team.
In this senior role, you’ll lead multiple projects including an aged care facility, several residential and club developments, and potentially commercial and industrial work. You’ll manage projects from initial feasibility through to design, procurement, delivery, and completion, working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors.
You’ll be working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to manage timelines, budgets, stakeholder expectations, and ensure high-quality outcomes are delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end project management of various developments across sectors
- Establishing project strategy, feasibility studies, and design coordination
- Managing stakeholder engagement and client reporting
- Overseeing procurement, tendering, and contract administration
- Site delivery oversight through to project completion
- Mentoring junior staff and contributing to internal capability development
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in client-side project management, ideally within similar boutique or mid-tier consultancies
- Proven ability to deliver projects from concept through to completion
- A diverse portfolio of past projects, with exposure to aged care, residential, clubs, or commercial developments
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and drive results
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Engineering or similar
