Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 + Super + Benefits

Our client is a well-established construction firm known for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure. With a commitment to safety, precision, and client satisfaction, they have built a strong reputation in the industry. Due to an increase in projects, they are expanding their team and looking for experienced Concrete Leading Hands and Foremen to take the lead in ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of concreting and formwork teams on-site.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of concreters and formworkers, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
  • Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor and manage the use of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the concreting and formwork processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman in concreting and formwork.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of concreting techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
