Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 + Super + Benefits

This is a great opportunity for a driven Contracts Administrator looking to transition into a tech-focused role within a forward-thinking team that’s shaping the future of construction.

Role and Responsibilities:   

  • Contract Management: Prepare, review, and manage contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all contract-related documents, correspondence, and changes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractor agreements, including issuing contracts, tracking progress, and processing variations and payments.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, cost reports, and forecasts, ensuring that projects remain within financial constraints.
  • Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients regarding contract matters, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or queries promptly.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential contract risks and work with project managers to develop mitigation strategies, ensuring the smooth progression of projects.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on contract performance, financial status, and project progress to senior management and clients.

Requirements:   

  • Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in the fit-out and refurbishment sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, including JCT, NEC, and other standard forms of contract.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in contract management, construction management, or a related field.
