WHAT’S ON OFFER
Our client is looking for a Defects Tradesperson to work on multiunit residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson to work autonomously and help finish a flagship project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES       

• Close Out and supervise all trades required for re-works and repairs where applicable
• Ensure that the surrounding work area is maintained to OHS&E standard at all times
• Maintain a professional liaison with all clients and trades
• Maintain overall quality assurance and best practice whilst ensuring building compliance
• Advise the defects team regarding defect and back charge notifications as well as purchase orders, work orders and SOW
• Ensure regular and continuous feedback on progress of all activities
• Ability to negotiate positive outcomes for the organisation

TO BE CONSIDERED  

• Trade background in Carpentry is advantageous 
• Preferably head contractor experience working on outstanding defects in the past
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret detailed site plans/drawings
• Strong ability to build relationships and liaise with externals
