Flux Core Welders – Underground TBM Project | Sydney

Job Description

Join a high-profile Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) commissioning project in Sydney! We’re assembling a skilled welding crew for a unique, large-scale infrastructure project, and we need experienced Flux Core Welders for both day and night 12-hour shifts.

The Roles:

• Multiple positions available, day & night shifts
• Roster: 6 shifts every 8 days
• Underground welding with full fume extraction
• Workers must provide their own PAPR respirator
• Welding jackets & 3 work shirts supplied

We’re Looking For

• Cert III qualified welders
• Coded/ticketed welders encouraged
• Mining, tunnelling, or heavy industrial experience highly regarded
• Strong flux core skills in structural/heavy fabrication
• Ability to work safely underground
• Own PAPR respirator required
• White Card mandatory; additional tickets an advantage
• Visa welders considered (extra approvals required)
• Sydney-based only – NO FIFO/DIDO

What’s on Offer

• $50 – $52 per hour + overtime + penalties + $5 site allowance
• 12-hour shifts with weekly earnings $5,500–$6,500 pre-tax
