About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Labourer / Driver to join a large local council based in Bexley, working within the Waste Services team. This is an ongoing position offering stable hours, overtime, and the opportunity to be part of a reliable and safety-focused local government crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate council vehicles for kerbside bulky waste collection (furniture, white goods, and general clean-up items)
- Assist with manual handling and loading duties as part of a small team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- Work hours: 6:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available
Requirements
- HR Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
- White Card (mandatory)
- Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety
- Previous waste collection or local government experience highly regarded
