Job Description

• Salary up to $150,000 + Super + Vehicle

The Company

This emerging name in the commercial landscape construction arena has landed a large number of projects in Sydney, making next year a very busy one indeed.  They want to continue this success by hiring an experienced Estimator to the fold for future projects.

They have a strong presence throughout Greater Sydney and have a great reputation for delivering demanding and challenging projects for a combination of reputable builders and local councils.

Their high-profile projects are between $100k – $3 million, and involve all elements of landscaping, with their forte being in parks, playgrounds and street scapes.

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an Estimator with landscape construction industry experience who is keen to join a dynamic and supportive in-house team.

This role will allow you to work with some of the best and most experienced industry professionals.

A rare opportunity to work for a large and reputable company with the potential to progress into an Estimating Manager role.

The Role

• Price and tender multi million-dollar projects
• Business development
• Site visits and inspections
• Tender meetings
• Handover of estimate to construction team
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
• Estimate using Benchmark software and MS Excel

The Requirements

• Strong experience and knowledge of how to build projects
• Certificate III in Landscape Construction OR Horticulture
• Computer literate
• Willingness to learn and evolve
• Personality and culture fit is very important!
