Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Parks Operatives for ongoing local government work maintaining parks, reserves and public spaces. These roles offer full-time hours, consistent work and the opportunity to transition into permanent positions for the right candidates.

The Role Working within council parks and gardens teams, your duties will include:

• Mowing, whipper snipping and general grounds maintenance
• Application of herbicides and pesticides 
• Operating council vehicles
• Litter picking and maintaining clean public spaces
• Basic landscaping and maintenance of parks and reserves

Requirements

• MR Driver Licence
• Chemical Application Certificate (Chem Cert)
• Previous parks, landscaping or council experience preferred
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors
• Reliable, punctual and safety focused
