Our client, a boutique construction and project management firm, is seeking a highly motivated Client-Side Project Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
The Role:
As a Project Coordinator, you will support the delivery of high-end construction projects from concept through to completion. This role is ideal for someone with up to 3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, Contract Administrator, or Site Engineer. It’s also a great fit for recent university graduates with a background in construction management and relevant work experience. Experience in commercial / hospitality projects is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to clients and senior management, highlighting any potential risks or issues.
- Contribute to problem-solving efforts, helping to address challenges that arise during the project.
- Ensure all activities are compliant with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Support senior project managers with administrative tasks and coordination efforts as needed.
About You:
- Up to 3 years of experience in a similar role such as Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, Contract Administrator, or Site Engineer.
- Recent university graduates with relevant qualifications in construction management or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with construction project management processes and documentation.
- Experience in commercial / hospitality projects is essential.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
