Are you a visionary engineering leader with a passion for innovation and sustainability? Our client is seeking a Regional Engineering Director to shape the strategic direction of our project and product design teams, engineering, and R&D functions. In this critical role, you will drive innovation, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment with organizational goals, cementing their position as a leader in sustainable data centre solutions.

About the Role   

  • Develop and execute an engineering strategy to drive long-term growth and innovation.
  • Lead design, engineering, and R&D functions, ensuring alignment with market demands and business objectives.
  • Drive product development using cutting-edge technologies and sustainability principles.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align engineering priorities with business goals.
  • Establish KPIs and foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance competitiveness and success.
  • Identify and mitigate strategic risks while ensuring robust contingency planning.
  • Implement advanced tools and methodologies (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, BIM) to optimize outcomes.
  • Build partnerships with industry organizations, academic institutions, and technology providers.

  
Qualifications & Experience:
  

  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related field (MBA highly regarded).
  • Extensive leadership experience in product development or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven success in managing complex technical projects (PMP certification advantageous).
  • Experience leading and developing teams across multiple sites.
  • Strong CAPEX budgeting and project delivery expertise.

  • Strong technical and analytical expertise with a focus on innovation.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety standards in engineering and manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
