Senior Estimator / Supervisor – Insurance Construction

Location: Sydney – Eastern Suburbs & North Shore
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 + Super 

Our client, a highly respected remedial and insurance construction specialist, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator/Supervisor to join their growing Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to continue progressing within one of the industry’s most reputable builders.

About the Role

As the Senior Estimator/Supervisor, you will take the lead across insurance-based projects, managing the assessment, scoping, pricing and delivery of works ranging from minor repairs through to complex remedial claims. 

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working as an Estimator/Supervisor with a recognised insurance builder
  • Strong understanding of domestic insurance repairs, make-safes, claim assessment and trade coordination
  • Ability to scope and cost a wide variety of building works with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, insurers, subcontractors and internal teams
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, professional approach

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct onsite assessments and prepare accurate estimates and scopes of work
  • Liaise directly with insurance companies, loss adjusters, assessors and clients
  • Oversee project delivery and ensure works are completed safely, on budget and to company standards
  • Manage trades, schedules, variations and documentation
  • Provide clear reporting and updates throughout the project lifecycle
  • Uphold quality control and maintain strong compliance with industry and insurance standards
