As a Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer, you will be the technical backbone on the projects, guiding engineering activities and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. This role is ideal for a strategic, detail-oriented engineer with proven experience in managing complex construction projects and a strong drive for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Oversee all engineering and technical functions for projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Coordination & Communication: Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any technical issues.
- Planning & Scheduling: Develop, monitor, and adjust project plans to meet deadlines and optimize resources.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures across all project phases to ensure top-tier outcomes.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is conducted in line with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular site inspections.
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and skilled project team.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and engineering plans to keep stakeholders informed.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally on large-scale or complex projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engineering tasks while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
