Contract Supervisor – Tier 2 Construction (Hourly Rate)
Location: Sydney, NSW
Employment Type: Fixed Contract
Pay: Hourly OR Day Rate (weekly pay)
Schedule: 6 days per week
Length of time: 3+ Months
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Supervisor to join a reputable Tier 2 construction company in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile commercial and cladding replacement projects.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring project delivery is safe, on time, and within scope, while leading and coordinating site teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and contractor management
- Coordinate and supervise trades, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Liaise with Project Managers and Site Engineers on scheduling and work progress
- Conduct regular site inspections and compliance checks
- Manage on-site resources, deliveries, and documentation
- Maintain accurate records of daily site activity and contractor performance
- Enforce WHS protocols and foster a strong safety culture
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Supervisor or Site Foreman role within Tier 2 construction
- Strong knowledge of commercial projects
- Solid understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and trades
- White Card and ID
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work 6 days per week and manage high-tempo sites
- Relevant trade qualifications or Cert IV in Building & Construction (preferred)
- OHS qualifications & First aid (preferred)
