Assistant Development Manager

Job Description

This client is a privately owned Australian company with nearly 50 years of experience in the high end residential, mixed use residential, bulky goods, retail and Industrial spaces with a current portfolio value of circa $1billion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with managing consultants & contracts
• Assisting with the successful delivery of projects on time and on budget
• Liaising and assist in discussions with the relevant authorities, agents and builders
• Manage all aspects of Design, Authority and Construction packages.
• Ensure timely processing, accurate coding and approval of project costs
• Compile feasibilities and maintain regular project forecasts 
• Assist in the planning, design and delivery of the development strategy
• Directly reporting to the SDM

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Civil Engineering, Project Management or other relevant tertiary degree qualification
• Ideally 5+ years’ post grad experience in Australian Property, Project management or Construction
• Advantage to have previous experience in planning, organizing and coordinating development, design, construction and marketing, particularly in the industrial sector
• Excellent communication, computer and time-management skills
