Our client is a well-established concrete construction firm known for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure. With a commitment to safety, precision, and client satisfaction, they have built a strong reputation in the industry. Due to an increase in projects, they are expanding their team and looking for a experienced Concrete Supervisor to take the lead in ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of concreting and formwork teams on-site.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of concreters and formworkers, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
  • Liaise with project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor and manage the use of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the concreting and formwork processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Supervisor in concreting and formwork.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of concreting techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
