This is a RARE opportunity to join an exciting builder in the Sydney market. With a full order book already locked away and some exciting projects on the horizon. They are delivering residential and commercial projects from $30m – $100m and are currently moving into other new disciplines. 
 
WHAT’S ON OFFER
These roles are few and far between, this is an excellent opportunity to make the step up from a Senior Project Manager into a key part of this builder’s business looking after multiple projects and teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership and management of the Group’s multi-projects portfolio across the residential and commercial sector
  • Ownership and accountability of the commercial & construction activities from head contract, subcontracts, procurement, budgets, cost control, delivery and project cash flows
  • Drive innovation and lead the introduction of new work practices, construction methods and materials to improve construction efficiencies & profitability
  • Strategic business planning in collaboration with Managing Director
  • Strong performance management ethos bringing full transparency (time, cost and profit) across the portfolio of projects – key drivers & key outputs (KPIs)

TO BE CONSIDERED:

  • Degree qualification in building construction or engineering
  • Substantial experience within a Tier 2 residential and commercial construction environment
  • Minimum of 5-10 years in a Senior Project Management role 
  • Proven track record in the management of significant multiple projects within the residential and commercial sectors
  • Awareness of risk, contractual and financial performance
  • Strong leadership in the area of performance management without compromising the group’s employee commitment and cultural values
