We are representing a prominent construction company specializing in fit-out and refurbishment projects. Renowned for their dedication to quality and client satisfaction, they are expanding their team. Our client is actively seeking accomplished Foremen and Leading Hands to join their ranks.

Role Overview:

As a Foreman or Leading Hand in the fit-out and refurbishment division, you will be entrusted with overseeing and coordinating on-site construction activities. Your seasoned experience and leadership will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Lead and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to proactively identify and address potential challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure project execution aligns with established plans.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety on-site.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Foreman or Leading Hand in fit-out and refurbishment construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing on-site construction activities.
  • Commitment to safety with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
