A leading Tier 2 Principal Builder in Sydney, seeking a proactive Safety Advisor to join their team on a new build construction project. They are known for their commitment to safety, quality, and innovation across a range of projects in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to play a critical part in ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained on site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE
- Conduct site inductions
- Review and monitor contractors’ SWMS
- Oversee general site safety
- Lead site safety meetings
- Analysing site practice and implementation of improved practices
- Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures
- Help promote WHS&E awareness on site
- Ensure compliance with the all Site Management Plans
- Maintain all WHS&E records for the project.
- Work with contractors and site teams to eliminate and reduce workplace risks
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Cert IV in Work Health and Safety essential
- Sound understanding of WHS&E Legislation and Regulations
- Previous experience in a Safety Advisor Role on Construction Projects
